About SMCA

South Madras Cultural Association, popularly known by it's acronym SMCA was registered under the Tamil Nadu Societies Registration Act 1975. SMCA is underlined by the joint effort with other like minded associations for the holistic sustenance of various cultural activities while serving as a platform for communities to coalesce in harmony. SMCA, in addition to providing a cultural reminder of one's heritage, also partakes in charity through the SMCA Charitable Trust. Their ascent in quality, has successfully resulted in a Sharadotsav being organized year and again the esteemed cultural collaboration.

SMCA strives to better and augment the eminent Durga Puja festivities with each passing year. Goddess Durga Puja at SMCA experiences 100,000 plus foot falls during its celebration. For more information on club activities and celebrations, please check SMCA activities page .

Why and how to become member ?

To become a member, you need to be introduced by any exisitng member. If you have the introducer, please get his/her membership id and fillup the signup up form, pay the required membership fees and contact us to complete the process. If you don't know any existing member and would like to participate in club activities please fill up the contact us form, we will get in touch with you.
